A few years ago, (OK, probably 6 years), I bought a friends little girl a hermit crab for her birthday.  She had been talking about hermit crabs forever and I thought, hey it's a hermit crab and they are really easy to care for when it comes to the caged animal species.  However, the sad phone call I received 2 weeks later broke my heart.

Pregnancy is something to be cherished, and that is why women love to capture their entire pregnancy through pictures.   From the "OMGosh we're pregnant" moment to the "I am about to Pop" moment, they take a picture each month.  This couple did something a little different.  They did a time-lapse video of their pregnancy.

When it comes to pet videos they are usually cute.  Throw in Christmas and those pet videos become super cute, I mean who doesn't like a video of dogs barking Jingle Bells.  However, this may take it a bit too far.  I think I may have nightmares after watching this creepy cat girl.

For all those hard workers in the cat herding business, today is a day to celebrate, so take a load off from those furry little felines and enjoy your day.  Seriously, today is officially National Cat Herder's Day but not in the real terms.

YouTube user HatinHand, put together an amazing video of 166 movies released in 2011. Although it doesn't every movie made this year it does include a lot.  I am amazed at how he put that many movies together and kept it under 8 minutes.

Animals are awesome companions.  However, some people don't know how to take care of animals or are just plain heartless when it comes to pets.  Someone in Des Moines, Iowa tossed a bag of kittens  onto a country road and left them to die.   Some of the kittens died after being run over repeatedly however, a special dog named Regan, saved them by dragging the bag to his house.
