There’s no consensus on what the best Christmas movie of all-time is, but ‘Elf‘ would have to be up there with the best of them. Released in 2003, the film has gone on to become a bonafide classic, watched as many times over the holidays as ‘A Christmas Story’ or ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’. The odd couple is one of the basic principles of comedy. You take two very different people, fling them into an absurd situation and (hopefully) rack up some good laughs. The ‘Get Hard’ trailer shows off one of the more inspired comedic pairings in recent memory, with the tall whiter-than-white Will Ferrell teaming up with the short black Kevin Hart. If the differences between two lead actors generated laughs on their own, then this is already the funniest movie of 2015.

A sequel to Ben Stiller’s ‘Zoolander’ has been a long time coming. The original movie, which followed the hilariously dumb misadventures of a male model named Derek Zoolander (Stiller), opened in the fall of 2001. 13 years later, work is finally starting to ramp up on the follow-up. Actor and writer Justin Theroux will direct ‘Zoolander 2’ (which should be called ‘2lander,’ for obvious reasons), and Stiller will reprise his role as Zoolander, along with Owen Wilson as his model buddy Hansel and Will Ferrell as the world’s most evil fashion designer Mugatu. Deadline says that the returning cast now has its first new addition in the form of the lovely Penelope Cruz.

These days 'SNL' movies are a bit few and far between (come on, 'MacGruber 2'!), but at least some of their success lives on with legendary classics like 'Wayne's World or 'The Blues Brothers.' Will Ferrell is no stranger to rivalries, but although the star might be used to coming to blows with John C. Reilly on the big screen (remember 'Step Brothers' and 'Talladega Nights'? yeah, ya do), it seems like he's taking his act to the small screen with a new nemesis. On last night's 'Tonight Show,' a seriously revved up Ferrell hit host Jimmy Fallon's stage alongside Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, who just so happens to look startlingly like Ferrell.

'The Flintstones' is being rebooted for the cinema, though this time (back) as a cartoon, with the help of Will Ferrell and Adam McKay. They'll be producing the film, which has already got a writer attached.

Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly are one of the greatest comic duos in cinema, so it's exciting to know they're re-teaming to make 'Border Guards.' Currently Adam McKay is eyeing directing, so it could be the trio's third movie together, following 'Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby' and 'Step Brothers.'

Although 'Anchorman 2' wasn't groundbreaking at the box office even being a more moderately budgeted comedy, it did make significantly more than its beloved 2004 predecessor. So, could there be an 'Anchorman 3' somewhere down the line? As far as co-writer and director Adam McKay is concerned ... No. Never. Ever.

We figured that NBC was blowing a bit of smoke in touting both Will Ferrell and the 'Anchorman' name for its new astronaut comedy pilot 'Mission Control,' but its first major casting is pure crystal. 'Breaking Bad' and 'Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23' star Krysten Ritter will blast off into the leading lady role, but will 'Mission Control' fall apart on the landing pad?

Fans of Will Ferrell's Ron Burgundy return in 'Anchorman: The Legend Continues' might still count themselves surprised a sequel finally got of the ground, but could the same brand of humor land on TV? NBC wants to put a man on the moon with a new 'Anchorman'-style comedy about the 1962 space race, direct from Ferrell and director Adam McKay themselves!
