Time to Cross ‘Sitting In a Life-Sized X-Wing Starfighter Made of LEGO’ Off the Bucket List
If you've ever dreamed of climbing inside of a Star Wars X-Wing Starfighter, then you are a huge nerd. It's okay; so are we, and we just found out that you can do it this weekend in NY.
Even the music in that video gets us pumped to go see the life-size X-Wing Starfighter made entirely of LEGO building blocks that is currently clogging traffic in Times Square.Listen, we live in New York; if we're going to Times Square, then you know it's for something awesome. It's terrible there.
The X-Wing is an exact replica of is LEGO Star Wars set No. 9493, only 42x the original size and made of 5,335,200 LEGOs . It took 32 builders in the Czech Republic over four months to build it. It is officially the largest LEGO sculpture ever made, and has light-up engines that make noises, and stuff!
The X-Wing is only around through Saturday the 25th, and is a promotion for the premiere of Cartoon Network's 'LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles.'
