I don't know if I'm surprised that there are three places to get your bowling fix in Yellow City, or if I'm shocked that's all there is. Either way, if you're looking to tear it up on the lanes you've got some very distinct choices. Three, very different choices, to be exact.

Here are the three choices you have when it comes to bowling in Amarillo.

Eastridge Lanes

Eastridge Lanes can be found at 5405 E Amarillo Blvd. If you're looking for a classic bowling experience, this is it. While other places in Amarillo offer all kinds of other "attractions" and amenities, Eastridge Lanes is all about bowling.

Their Facebook page is full of tournament info. There's celebrations of perfect games.

It reminds me of the places that I grew up bowling at. No mess. No fluff. Just bowling.

Cinergy Entertainment

Let's go to the absolute opposite end of the spectrum. You want your bowling with neon lights, big screen TVs, laser tag, movie theaters, escape rooms, and a massive arcade? Look no further.

If bowling isn't the centerpiece of your time out of the house, this place gives you plenty of other options. Plus, there are lots of massive screens playing videos, multiple game modes to use on your bowling lane, and plenty of multi-color lights.

Western Bowl - Where You Meet In The Middle

Western Bowl is an interesting mix of the two previous entries. When it comes to bowling, you get that classic bowling alley feel. At the same time, you do have arcade games, laser tag, a pretty decent bar to hang out in, and other amenities.

It's been a while since I've been to Western Bowl. The last time I went, the wait for a lane was extreme. The place was packed to the gills. I left without lacing up any rented shoes.

Western Bowl is hands down one of the more popular spots in town for some weekend entertainment. Well, at least it was the last time I went. It's where a lot of people choose to go to get their bowling fix.
