WHAT: The Hiking Dead

WHERE: Palo Duro Canyon State Park - Mack Dick Pavillion Parking Lot

WHEN: Saturday, October 8th, 6-8pm

COST: Entry Fee into the park - $5 adults, 12 and under free.

The Hiking Dead will teach you some survival skills in the event of the world being taken over by zombies.  You'll learn how to keep from being eaten alive.  This is a hike, but one you haven't experienced.  During this awesome hike you'll be playing a game that will test your skills to survive in a zombie apocalypse.

WHAT TO WEAR: Dress for the weather, it tends to get cold in the evenings down in the canyon.  Make sure to wear good shoes or hiking boots.  This hike is less than 2 miles over easy terrain, so be prepared to walk.  Also bring drinking water.  You can bring your pets, but make sure they are on a leash.

Once you have learned your survival skills don't forget to stick around for Planet Viewing at the visitor center at PDC at 8pm.  You'll be looking at the moon, Saturn and Mars.  This is the last star party of the season.
