As you have noticed, we have been having some power issues as of late and our signal can get spotty in some areas. Believe me, I feel your frustration. What we thought would have been a minor issue has turned into a much bigger one. We ordered parts to fix the issue and after they arrived and work began we realized that there was even more things that needed repair. We are hoping that, at the latest, we should be back and running at full steam by the end of this month (June 30).

The reason I bring this up is because there are times that I have to make a run to the transmitter site. It's about a 30 minute drive on the outskirts of town, but it's a good time to collect my thoughts as 'reset' the rest of my day. My favorite thing about where it is located is that it's nestled way, way back on lots of acreage which is home to cattle and horses. It really can be a breathtaking sight as you take the winding dirt road to the building.

The other day, I had to make such a trip and noticed a herd of horses less than 100 feet away from me. I was far enough away that they weren't disturbed by my presence and I think they are pretty used to the limited amount of traffic that they see, so I stopped and took this snapshot.

Next time I head out to the transmitter I will see if I can grab a shot of some of the cattle to share with you.
