High Plains Food Bank’s Kids Cafe Start Their Summer Meals Program with a Kick-Off Party
Just because school is out doesn't mean that hunger is out. When school is out that means we have kids in our area who go without meals. At least when they are in school they can eat breakfast and lunch, but when school isn't in session these kids are going hungry. No child should ever go hungry. Thankfully there is the Kids Cafe.
The High Plains Food Bank wants to make sure that they are connecting families to free summer meals and a lot of community resources. That's why they are having a party
WHAT: Kids Cafe Summer Meals Kick-Off Party
WHEN: Saturday, May 30th - 9a-1pm
WHERE: 2199 SE 8th
Free Hot Dogs, games, prizes and face painting plus $1 snow cones.
Families can get summer meal info plus other information. Plus, if you don't need assistance, you can still come out to the party and find out how you can volunteer for the Kids Cafe and how you can help alleviate hunger in the Texas Panhandle.
