<p>Odds are over the last 50 years  you, your parents, and your children have all read a Berenstain Bear Book.   Stan Berenstain passed away in 2005 at the age of 82 and his wife followed him in death on Friday at the age of 88 after suffering a massive stroke.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>As you probably know already, I like to read and I find myself reading books of the vampire genre.  Back in the 90's I fell in love with <a href="http://www.annerice.com/Bookshelf-VampireChronicles.html">The Vampire Chronicles</a>, which began with <a href="http://www.annerice.com/Bookshelf-Interview.html"><em>Interview with the Vampire</em></a>.  Anne Rice was the author of that series of books and they are very dark and very well written.  Fast Forward to the 21st century and Stephenie Meyers gives us <a href="http://thetwilightsaga.com/page/books-1">The Twilight Saga</a> and sparkly vampires, and apparently Anne Rice does not approve.</p>
