I am a root beer fanatic!  I always have been.  When I was pregnant with Ethan that was one of my biggest cravings, root beer!  As luck would have it, that is one of Ethan's favorite things to drink.  So today is the perfect day for us, and we will probably celebrate by having a root beer float. So I encourage you to celebrate with us.

I have no clue who the marketing person is for Little Baby's Ice Cream in Philadelphia, but they must be crazy.  After watching their commercial, I probably would never eat their ice cream again.  It's a bit terrifying.

I think the person who invented ice cream sandwiches is a genius.  Seriously, ice cream between cookies it is a sweet tooth's heaven.

One of the most familiar sights of summer is the neighborhood ice cream truck. But thanks to a shortage of many popular frozen treats made by Good Humor, you may not be seeing those trucks quite as often in the months to come.

Do remember Makin’ Whoopie Pie? You could buy that Ben & Jerry’s flavor, which was chocolate ice cream augmented by marshmallows and devil’s food cooks, 10 years ago. Unfortunately, the concoction didn’t prove popular enough and the Vermont-based ice cream makers laid Makin’ Whoopie Pie to rest in 2003. Literally.

Last night around 9:30pm,  I had finally gotten Ethan in bed and calmed down. I sat down and grabbed my book and was about to open it when I heard the music.  Yes, the music, "Pop Goes the Weasel," then a few seconds later my son comes running down the hallway, "Momma, the ice cream man."  Ugh!  Seriously!
