Last week I told you about Karon. Karon is a special needs child in Amarillo that had her beloved pet iguana stolen from the sun room in front of their home.

The Bonsai is like a dog that doesn't bite you or pee on the carpet. It needs your attention without ever being annoying about it. I love it.

Pets are the most amazing things in this world. They are our family and we love them. When we lose them it breaks our hearts. But, when someone heartlessly takes our pets from us, then we are left with heartache, anger and disbelief. Now a sweet girl is dealing with all those feeling.

The work day is over and you head home. You walk in the front door and there sits Fido or Garfield. They missed you...but do they make you happier?

We love our city,but sometimes the bad news of our city takes over. A SWAT team got called out on a domestic violence call, another wreck took a a life, another shooting happened. That's what we seem to hear daily. However, it is a breath of fresh air when we hear about our APD officers doing something kind and sweet.

This week Patti with the Amarillo SPCA brought us Macie. Macie was returned to the Amarillo SPCA by her owner. Macie is a sweet dog that needs a forever family that will keep her forever. Meet Macie here, you'll fall in love.

Patti with the Amarillo SPCA introduced us to this cutie this week. He's on the list for a bath and a haircut so you aren't seeing all of that handsomeness!

Patti with the Amarillo SPCA brought us Cinnamon this week. What we know about Cinnamon is she is still a young dog. She is part dachshund, and very sweet and lovable.

This week's pet of the week has some what of a sad story. Pepe is a sweet baby, who came from a home where he wasn't treated very well. Pepe is looking for a family where he will be loved and cuddled on and where he doesn't have to be scared. He's sweet, kind, and full of love, and he needs all the love and kindness he can get.

I am going to start off by saying, my heart is a bit broken today. It's been seven days since I've seen my cat Lemmy.

This week the Amarillo SPCA brought us Rascal and he is so full of energy and would be a fun dog to add to your family.

The Amarillo SPCA brought Benny by this week. Benny is a mutt, he is obviously part dachshund but we are not sure of the other. He's sweet and loving and just needs a home where he will be loved.
