Amarillo Parks and Recreation Hosts Rocket Summer Science Club
Summer is halfway over and I bet your kids are driving you nuts! Get them out of the house and doing fun activities with Amarillo Parks and Recreation.
Amarillo Parks and Recreation has had amazing programs all summer. A lot of them are free and the ones that do cost are very affordable. They just want the kids to enjoy their summer.
Coming up later this month, they are hosting an awesome Rocket Summer Science Club. If your kids love science this will be perfect for them.
The Rocket Summer Science Club is going to teach the kids how to make balloon rockets, bottle rockets and more. This club was inspired by Rocket Racoon from Guardians of the Galaxy!
Nothing is more fun than building something like a rocket and then launching it. If you are interested, it happens July 26, 27, and 28 from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. It will take place at Memorial Park Gazebo, SW 24th and Washington and it is for kids ages 7-11.
Now there is a cost for this camp, but it is only $25. The deadline to register is July 24th. If you would like to reserve your child's spot, call 806-378-9391.
