According to NewsWest 9, The House of Representatives have passed the Bush Childhood Home Study Act presented by Representative Mike Conaway.

This will now preserve the former home of the Bush family as a national landmark and it comes just days after 41st President George H. W. Bush was laid to rest.

“As the nation mourns the passing of George Herbert Walker Bush, our 41st President, we are especially reminded of the importance of preserving living landmarks for future generations,” Conaway said.

The legislation is now off to the Senate and the President for official approval.
