So I am not a very creative person. I never have been. I know my limitations. I grew up working on those latch hook kits. You know the ones where you had a little piece of yarn and a hook. You matched the correct color to the burlap to make some yarn decoration of Tweety Bird.

Yeah that is the extent of my abilities. I always sat in awe of those who actually could knit. My hands don't work like that. Too much movement. Heck, I couldn't even braid my daughter's hair growing up. She will tell you. My fingers get in the way or something .

I have a lot of friends who knit. They make some cool things. I have seen hats and scarves to name a few. Now there is a place that if you are able to knit that you can go to get some help. Get some ideas. Or just spend time with others that are creative like you.

Did you know that the Canyon Library is hosting a weekly event to help those of you that are able to knit? I think that is pretty cool. According to the Canyon Area Library's Facebook page:

Every Monday from 5-6:30 p.m., Canyon Area Library holds Knit Night! Come learn patterns, get help or just enjoy the company of other knitting enthusiasts. All are welcome to attend. Must provide own supplies. #KnitNight

So grab your yarn. Grab your needles. Heck even grab your friends. Get out of the house for a bit and have a fun night learning new things.
