We are used to some of our favorite restaurants being closed on Sundays. It hurts because that ends up being the day we really crave them. Am I right? I mean we seem to crave Chick-fil-A a bit more. We want a burger from Blue Sky. Oh, and we want BBQ from Spicy Mike's.
I know when you have the thought about going to McDonald's you are probably not necessarily looking for the healthiest meal anyway. I get that. Oh their Big Macs are to die for. Oh and their fries. If you get them fresh they are the best.
I was busy getting some work done at my computer when I heard a ding come through Facebook messenger. It was not from someone on my friends list so I had to accept the message. I did because I recognized the name.
One of the best things about the summer months is we get outside and do a lot more. I feel that fall sometimes gets a bad wrap. We still do things outdoors but the events change. We get cold while we are out at football games and other outdoor stuff.

I drove by this new restaurant, Amanda's Cafe, over the weekend to get a picture of it for another story. The parking lot was pretty full. They were doing some pretty good business. This was on a Sunday around lunchtime.
It was on September 19th when Raquel Saunders left her last post on Facebook. In that post she let everyone know that she was fighting covid and would be put on a ventilator soon. She asked for prayers.
I took a day yesterday where I was driving around Amarillo getting some photos of some restaurants in Amarillo. As I was driving around I was trying to take in how much Amarillo has changed since I first moved here.
When we found out last season that the Amarillo Bulls were moving away a lot of the fans were sad. Oh and rightfully so. Though, it wasn't long before we got the news we were wanting to hear. A new "old" team back in Amarillo.
