According to the study that was done, the city home to the stretch of highway with the most fatalities is, Houston. I-45 in Houston had 50 fatalities during the period of time used for the study.

It also had a total of 46 crashes. I-410 in San Antonio had the same numbers, but a slightly smaller average of fatalities per mile than Houston.
