Exciting Summer Jobs Await at Amarillo’s Parks and Rec
If you're looking for a fun summer job, then you definitely don't want to miss this event.
The Amarillo Parks and Rec Department is holding a summer job fair and they are looking for people to come and get ready to have an exciting summer. Each summer Parks and Rec has multiple seasonal jobs and this summer they are looking for people to fill those positions.
Available positions include:
Lifeguards (15 and older)
Pool managers (18 and older)
Program attendant (16 and older)
Cashiers (15 and older)
If any of these positions sound like fun to you then you're in luck.
The Parks and Rec Department is holding a job fair this Saturday, March 26th at the Warford Activity Center, 1330 NW 18th Ave. The Parks and Rec staff will be conducting interviews and screenings. If you are applying to be a lifeguard, you will need to take a swim test at the interview.
If you're qualified, you'll have a job offer before you leave the job fair.
Don't worry they will provide training for free and offer competitive pay, the wages are $11 and some jobs pay more.
This is a perfect time for teens to starting getting interested in a job and working to earn their own money. Plus, memories and tales to tell, get made while working summer jobs.
