Grandparents Day is Sunday – Don’t Forget to Call Your Grandparents

If you are lucky enough to still have your grandparents with you, then make sure you give them a call on Sunday for National Grandparents Day!

I am lucky enough to still have both my grandmothers.  When I remember my childhood they are both a big part of it as well as my grandfathers were as well.

My Papa Jay taught me how to ride, saddle and treat a horse.  My Meme taught me how to bake and cook for that matter.

My Mama always baked me the best pumpkin and pecan pies and her Thanksgiving dressing is still the best ever.  Plus, I learned that when she told you to keep your drinks in the kitchen she meant it, LOL!

Grandparents are special so remember to call and thank them for everything they have done for you and tell them how much you love them before it is to late to make that phone call.
