Have You Seen The Disgusting Stuff Posted To This City Facebook Page?
The City of Amarillo really does try their best to make sure we have plenty of avenues to get information. There's the website, their main social media accounts, and then the social media accounts of the different departments.

Say Hello To The Environmental Health Department's Facebook Page
First of all, it isn't all gross-out stuff. They share a lot of good enough, and even congratulate businesses who score high on their inspections.
They also have a thing called "Wild Wednesday Violation." So help me God, some of them are really wild.
What Wins A Wild Wednesday Violation?
For the love of all that is holy and right in this world, what is that?!
The title is "Creepy Crawlies" and I couldn't hate it more. It's disgusting. It's nauseating. Was that actually filmed in a kitchen?!
There aren't enough vomit emojis in the world to convey how I'm feeling.
How about this one from last month? I got the chills watching this one.
One more. I don't know what this is. I don't want to know what this is. Maybe it's part mop? Who cares. It's foul.
What really, really, bugs me (no pun intended) is that some of these places are restaurants or places where people come into contact with food. These photos and videos have a way of making your stomach churn when think about what's for dinner tonight.
While I am appreciative of the love that the Environmental Health Department gives to those businesses who are doing great, I'm here for the Wild Wednesdays.
They're disgusting. They're appalling. And I can't seem to make myself look away.
