Here Are Four Of The Amarillo Area’s Wonderful Pumpkin Farms
Fall is here, and that means pumpkin farms, corn mazes, and hayrides. The best part is that there is more than one option in the area, so you can find something that your whole family will enjoy.
Here are four of the Amarillo area's pumpkin farms for you and the family to enjoy.
Maxwell's Pumpkin Farm - Amarillo, TX
We're all familiar with Maxwell's. It's a staple of not only the fall months, but now they even open up for Christmas.
For the fall they have the staples like the pumpkin patch and corn maze. They also have several other attractions and activities that the kids will enjoy.
There's the train ride, the slides, the animals, and my favorite...the apple cannons.
You can check out their website for more info.
Gee Family Farms - Amarillo, TX
Gee Family's Fall Daze is pretty impressive. Their website lists several activities for kids, with only a small handful of activities that come at an added cost.
One of the most attractive parts is the ticket price. You won't break the bank just getting on to the property with this one.
Their website does mention corn mazes, hayride, and a "corn shootin' range."
Definitely worth looking into. You can check out their website here.
Howard Farms Pumpkin Patch - Amarillo, TX
You'll find the pumpkins, gourds, corn, and everything else fall related from Howard Farms at 45th and Teckla. On Facebook they mention food trucks and games, and lots of fun to be had.
You can follow them here for more updates. If you're looking for pumpkins, gourds, hay, corn...this is worth checking out.
Leonard Farms - Canyon, TX
I only recently became aware of Leonard Farms. They have an impressive corn maze you have to see to believe. It's massive.
They have a big chunk of land where this all takes place. For now, the major highlights are the pumpkin patch and the corn maze. There's also a hayride, and other fun and games to be enjoyed.
Seriously, check out that corn maze. You can get the details at their website by following this link.
