When it comes to the most fined teams in the NFL last season, the team that wound up paying the most in fines was the Houston Texans. According to The Action Network, the Texans were fined a total of $3,153,652.

The number two most fined team in the NFL was the Chargers. Compared to the Texans, they barely got fined at all. All they got fined was $903,653. The Dallas Cowboys ranked tenth at $405,947.

Why Did The Texans Pay So Much In Fines?

The lion's share of the Texans' fines can be attributed to one player. That player is Denico Autry. If you think back, Denico Autry got in a bit of trouble over the alleged use of performance-enhancing drugs. The fine for that was just over $2 million.
