Is This Diesel Pump The Most Anger Inducing One In Amarillo?
I don't drive a diesel vehicle. However, if I did drive one I would think seeing something like this would be pretty annoying. It's hard enough sometimes squeezing in at a gas station when someone is already at the pump in front of you. Never mind having to parallel park.
Is this pump the most anger inducing pump at a gas station in Amarillo? I could see where it's possible.
First Of All, We All Have Problems At The Pump
It never fails. You're in a hurry and you have to stop and fuel up. You go to pull in, and the person at the pump in front of you hasn't pulled up far enough to give you enough room to get the hose to your gas tank.
It's infuriating.
Now, imagine you can't just use any old pump. You need a specific one. Now imaging that pump is surrounded on either side by pumps you absolutely can not use.
What would you do if both of those pumps were in use, and you were left to try and parallel park to get gas?
Say Hello To Possibly The Most Aggravating Pump In Amarillo Texas
I found this diesel pump nestled between two gasoline pumps at a Toot'n Totum.
I see this going one of two ways. Someone is at the pump in front of the diesel pump, and now a person needing diesel can't just pull up and pump. Double trouble is someone is at both pumps.
Two, someone in a diesel vehicle (which a lot of times is bigger than your standard vehicle) pulls in, and they wind up rendering both of the other pumps to be used.
I'm sure there are a lot of technical reasons behind the choice to put this pump there, but it does seem a bit like a flaw and not a feature...if you know what I mean.
