The “Don’t Tell My Parents” Files: West Texans Spill Their Craziest Secrets
If there’s one thing I’ve learned from doing radio in Lubbock, it’s this: y’all will tell us the craziest things you’d never breathe a word of to your parents. Ever. The second we say, “What’s something Mom and Dad still don’t know about you?” the floodgates burst open like a West Texas dust storm coming for your lash extensions.
From secret teenage schemes to grown-up shenanigans nobody’s owning up to at Thanksgiving, the confessions rolled in—funny, wild, slightly alarming, and VERY West Texas.
So here it is: a gallery of the most outrageous, unfiltered, “please don’t tell my mom” stories our listeners bravely shared with us. Bless your hearts… and your therapist’s future schedule.

Thanks to everyone who sent in their “absolutely-not-telling-my-parents” stories. Y’all keep this job fun, chaotic, and slightly concerning.
Got your own confession you’d only whisper to a radio host and not your family? Please send it in. We’re not judging. (Okay, maybe a little. Nah. We are. We definitely are...)
