Amarillo’s Restaurant Scene Keeps Growing With New 2026 Openings

The great thing about Amarillo is that there are restaurants all over the city. There is no shortage of places to eat. Every year, Amarillo has multiple new restaurants that open, bringing new cuisine to the residents of Amarillo and the Texas Panhandle.

From burgers to barbecue to international cuisines, new restaurants are popping up from east to west and all over the Texas Panhandle. Some of the new restaurants are chains, others are local, and the others are food trucks. No matter what form the restaurant takes, it's the food that will make it legendary.

Restaurants like The Toasted Yolk, Boondocks, and Ponto Gaucho are just a few new additions to the Amarillo restaurant market.
