Most of us find the most economical TV dinners and for most, that is the Banquet.  If you buy Banquet TV dinners, especially the chicken variety, you want to check your freezer.  The meal you want to look for is the Banquet Chicken Strip Meals.

Conagra Brands, Inc. has issued a recall of over 245,000 pounds of frozen chicken strip entree products.

These chicken strips were produced on June 20, 2023, July 11, 2023, and July 17, 2023.   The chicken strips are included in the 8.9-oz. carton containing one entree of Banquet Chicken Strips Meal with best if used by "DEC 11 2024," "JAN 01 2025," or "JAN 07 2025" and lot numbers 5009317120, 5009319220, or 5009319820 located on the side of the carton.  The products should also bear the establishment number EST. P-9.

These were shipped nationwide and sold online.

These items are being recalled because of a foreign contaminant in the chicken.  The contaminant is pieces of plastic that may be found in the chicken strips.

The recall was issued after FSIS received a complaint from a consumer after they discovered the pieces of plastic in the chicken.  The contaminant caused an injury to the consumer's mouth.  No other injuries or illnesses have been reported about this recall.
