
FBI Dallas Issues $15,000 Reward for Fugitive Who Attacked Agents
While our hardworking law enforcement with the Texas Department of Public Safety is working hard to keep Texas safe and fugitives off the streets, so are other agencies. Those agencies include the FBI.
The FBI in Dallas is currently asking for help in apprehending a criminal wanted for assaulting federal agents.
Violent Pursuit Leads to Federal Assault Charges
The FBI is currently searching for Jerson Lopez-Sanchez. Lopez-Sanchez is currently wanted for assault of Federal Immigration agents.
According to the FBI, on December 1, 2025, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers initiated a traffic stop on a white Chevy pickup in Lewisville, Texas. The truck was registered to a person who had been removed from the U.S.
Instead of stopping when officers began the traffic stop, the driver fled. In the process, Lopez-Sanchez allegedly hit a van where two ICE officers were present.
Lopez-Sanchez took off on foot after the pursuit.

A federal warrant was issued and unsealed on Wednesday, January 14, in the Eastern District of Texas for his arrest.

Lopez-Sanchez is described as a 28-year-old Hispanic male with black hair and brown eyes. He is 5' 8" tall and weighs 165 pounds. He is from Honduras.
