A New Taco Restaurant Is Coming to Canyon
A new restaurant called Genuine Texas Tacos is getting ready to open in Canyon. The new location will be at 1302 23rd St. Now that address may sound familiar because it was home to the longtime Canyon business Hil's Burgers. It's nice to know another great local restaurant is moving in and giving the building new life with tacos.

Meet the Owner Behind Genuine Texas Tacos
Genuine Texas Tacos is a passion project by Jesus B. Ramos. Ramos works in multiple forms of art. He is a tattoo artist, and now he's bringing that creativity to the kitchen with his new cuisine.
I love to create not only fine art and tattoos, but love creating delicious Tex-Mex cuisine!!
Just looking at some of the menu items, Genuine Texas Tacos could become a routine stop for people in Canyon and WT students. Being so close to Canyon High School, they will likely be packed before school and at lunch.
Breakfast Burritos and Tex-Mex Favorites on the Menu
They will be serving up breakfast burritos for $7.49 and breakfast plates starting at $12.99. Lunch and dinner will bring a great selection of Tex-Mex favorites like enchiladas, chile verde, and chile colorado, and of course tacos!

When Will Genuine Texas Tacos Open?
According to a post on their Facebook page, they are still trying to iron out all the details, but will hopefully have an opening day soon.
