Noodle Corner Opens in Former Western Street Subway in Amarillo

An area in Amarillo that has been seeing a lot of change is north of I-40 and Western. There have been quite a few closures and quite a few new openings in that area lately. One of those new openings is Noodle Corner.

What Happened to the Subway Near Tascosa High?

Back in July 2025, we shared with you that the local Subway looked to have closed its doors. This was a hit to the area because the Subway was a place where many of the Tascosa High School students went for lunch.

Then in April 2026, we shared with you that a new business was moving in. The Subway sign was removed from the building, and a big truck and dumpster sat in front, making it look like the building was being cleaned out and remodeled. It was, because a banner soon went up in the window saying Noodle Corner was opening soon.

When Did Noodle Corner Open in Amarillo?

Well, Noodle Corner was coming, and it is finally here. It opened its doors on October 9, 2026. The restaurant also earned an A/100 inspection rating.

What's on the Noodle Corner Menu?

Noodle Corner serves up delicious pho, ramen, and Thai cuisine. Check out the full menu here. They also offer a $10.99 lunch special Monday through Friday, 10:30 am to 3:30 pm. That will be great for all the Tascosa High students and everyone looking for a good lunch.

Noodle Corner is located at 2001 S. Western and is open Monday through Thursday, 10:30 am to 9 pm; Friday, 10:30 am to 10 pm; Saturday, 11 am to 10 pm; and Sunday, 11 am to 9 pm.

Who Owns Noodle Corner?

We reached out to the restaurant to learn more about the owners and the new restaurant, but at the time of publishing, we hadn't received a response. But we'll share if and when they respond.
