Amarillo's Over-Eze Featured on America’s Best Restaurants

Amarillo is slowly becoming a place for TV and film crews. Certain places like Cadillac Ranch and The Big Texan have always attracted film and TV crews thanks to their undeniable tourist fascination. But recently, more and more other businesses have been featured on different shows.

Recently, one of Amarillo's newest breakfast places had a TV crew visit. Over-Eze welcomed America's Best Restaurants (ABR) on Thursday, February 26. J Russell and the ABR crew stopped by to show off a few of their signature dishes, including:

When Will the Over-Eze Episode Air?

It can take anywhere from a few months to over a year for the final episode to air. But we'll definitely share it with you once it's released.

How Restaurants Are Selected By America's Best Restaurants

Restaurants can apply or be nominated by those who love their food. After the restaurant has applied or been nominated, it must meet a 30-point checklist to be considered. About one in four restaurants that apply are selected. Once the restaurant is approved, ABR comes in with their film crew and spends about three hours filming the episode, which includes their story, the owner, the staff, and, of course, the food.

An interesting fact about ABR: being featured on the show is not free. It becomes a paid partnership that includes marketing and promotion.
