A Hometown Christmas Awaits You One Hour Outside Amarillo
It truly is the most wonderful time of the year! It's that time for all sorts of fun events focusing on Christmas and they are going on all over the place.
Make sure you mark your calendars for Friday, December 2nd at 6 pm because downtown Borger is going to light up and fill up with all things Christmas.
It's Borger's Hometown Christmas, a holiday event that will be hosted by the non-profit, Project Build Borger.
The event will kick off at 6pm with the Borger Chamber of Commerce's Christmas parade at 10th and Main. The parade will travel down Main Street to 3rd.
When the parade concludes, get ready for some Christmas fun and games!
Two blocks of Main Street will be packed with all sorts of fun Christmas activities. Christmas lights will brighten up Main Street including the Borger Christmas tree, plus food trucks, a beer garden, horse and carriage rides, and lots of vendors and food trucks. Not to mention a lot of the Main Street businesses will be open to shop. Oh, and the Borger Fire Department will be roasting marshmallows for the kids.
Santa will also be on-site for photo opportunities. It's a fun family event you don't want to miss.
If you've never been to Borger then you will fall in love with the charm this Texas Panhandle Town has to offer.
