Just when I didn't think Hereford had enough caffeine, boy oh boy, it looks like they are going to be plenty caffeinated.

A few weeks ago, I found out that Scooter's Coffee was moving into my hometown in the area of the old Long John Silver's Building (RIP).   This will be a great thing.  However, I just found out that a new Starbucks is moving into the Beef Capital of the World.

The new Starbucks will be located on West 1st and 25 Mile Avenue.  There's a Stripes Convenience Store on the southeast side, a Goodin Fuel on the southwest, a Love's on the Northwest, and a KFC on the Northeast.  It looks like Starbucks will be going next to KFC.

So the coffee competition in Hereford is going to be heating up.  I am personally excited because now I can grab a coffee when I got to visit family.  Most of the time when I'm in Hereford the local coffee places are closed.

Hereford does have a few local coffee locations. The Water Lot, located on 25 Mile Ave., and Choco-Latte located in the Crossed Keys liquor store on 25 Mile Ave.  This makes me excited to see Hereford growing and adding new businesses all the time.

Each place has unique items that make them stand out from everyone else.  Starbucks will bring its name and some of the great coffee drinks they are known for, and those amazing egg bites.

So a big yay, for my hometown as it continues to grow.   It's gonna be great for the city.

Can You Guess These Towns From Their Satellite Photos?

I'm always down for a good brain challenge. This one however got the best of me.
It's always a fun time looking up address or cities and seeing them from a satellite point of view. You start pointing out landmarks and things you recognize.

One thing you don't account for however is something looking bigger or smaller than you seemed to think it was. So we started grabbing a bunch of these satellite pictures of cities and towns around Amarillo.

As we looked at them, we thought to ourselves, "how fun would this be to actually have to GUESS what these places are?". So away we went.

Go ahead and try to see how many you can guess correctly!
