The rain and storm damage has been the topic of many conversations lately.  The Texas Panhandle wasn't prepared for the massive amounts of rain it has gotten in the past weeks.

Although the rain was much needed, the massive amount of rain in such a short period of time, was not.  The flooding caused major damage in certain areas of the Texas Panhandle.

One of those damaged areas was the El Campo community in Hereford, Texas. Many of the homes in the community do not have access to fresh water or even potable water.  We shared earlier about some relief efforts for the El Campo community and the need for water.  However, that need continues.

Here's how you can help!

Another organization is stepping up in the relief efforts, Angels Care Home Health is helping in the charge for relief for El Campo.  They are asking for donations of bottled water.  They are also looking for other items such as small toiletries.

If you are able to help in the relief efforts for the El Campo Community in Hereford, Texas.  You can drop off water and toiletry items to the most convenient location to you:

  • Angels Care Home Health 1900 S Coulter Ste N
  • Amarillo Strength and Balance 1911 Port Ln
  • Legacy at Town Square 9700 Hillside Rd.
  • Plum Creek Place 6800 Plum Creek Drive
  • Boost Performance 4824 Hillside Rd
  • The Craig 5500 SW 9th Ave.

Angels Care will also be providing nursing care to some of the residents in the El Campo Community.

That's the great thing about the Texas Panhandle, when someone is in need we come together to help.
