Nostalgia Alert: 15 Amarillo Jingles You May Have Never Heard or Forgotten About
If you grew up in Amarillo and the Texas Panhandle area, then at some point in time, one of these jingles was stuck in your head. Many Amarillo businesses had jingles to promote their products.

a short slogan, verse, or tune designed to be easily remembered, especially as used in advertising.
We've found jingles that are guaranteed to get stuck in your head and you'll be singing them for weeks.
Cattle Call
Cattle Call was one of the best BBQ restaurants in Amarillo. It's sad that it is no longer around. Cattle Call had some of the best BBQ. Not to mention the coleslaw, most people aren't a fan of coleslaw but theirs was delicious. Who could forget the apricots on that piece of thick Texas toast? Let's take a trip back.
Hastings
Hastings was the best place to shop, it had music, books, and movie rentals, and it had the craziest assortment of items. It was a place you'd go every weekend to rent movies, and just browse for the quirkiest item or t-shirt you could fine. This store is one of the most missed in Amarillo.
Crawford Door
Back in the day, when you needed new garage doors or a garage door fixed or even heard the word garage door, this is what popped in your head.
Danny Benites
The phrase "Who's your daddy" was first used in the '70s, but it became hugely popular again in the early 2000s. So what did a local car dealer do? He used it to his advantage.
Dennis the Price Menace Liquors
Where in Amarillo could you go for that "hand-crampin' cold, cold beer." Oh yeah! You can still go there for that beer.
Mr. Gattis
Mr. Gattis has been in Amarillo a very long time and they used to deliver. In fact, they had a location that was dedicated to pick up and delivery. At one point in time, you knew their number by heart, and you might still know it, if you do, sing along.
The Bear Mill
Amarillo used to have its version of Build a Bear. It was called the The Bear Mill and it was located in the Food Court of Westgate Mall. Their jingle was always like fingernails on a chalkboard.
Jump N Jive
Remember Jump N Jive? The indoor bouncy house park that was in the Summit Shopping Center at 34th and Coulter. An entire building filled with a ton of bounce houses. Who doesn't love a jingle that includes falling on your rump?
Jiffy Lube
Who in Amarillo could keep you running smooth? That would be Jiffy Lube. They are still here but this jingle is long gone.
All Digital Connections
So long ago when satellite was becoming hugely popular we had All Digital Connections. Anytime those words were said, you busted out in song. Why? Well, that jingle was EVERYWHERE and it played ALL THE TIME!
Buffalo Nickel
Back in the days of Western Plaza Mall, there was an awesome arcade inside called Buffalo Nickel. This place was huge and it cost just a nickel to play. This will be an earworm for a long time after listening! But it's a fun earworm.
Metabolic Research Center
Anytime you thought about losing weight, this jingle popped into your head. The weight loss center is still in Amarillo, but the jingle went away a very long time ago.
M&R Liquor
M&R Liquor still uses this jingle, there's something about "sock it in your pocket." What does that even mean?
Quick Quack
When you needed your carwash, all you had to do was duck in, duck out!
La Fiesta Grande
La Fiesta has two locations in Amarillo that serve up some of the best Mexican food. The taste says it all!
