Katy Perry Faces Second Sexual Harassment Accusation After Female TV Host Comes Forward
Katy Perry has been accused of sexual harassment by a second person days after her "Teenage Dream" music video co-star accused her of exposing his penis at a party.
This time, the accuser is a female Russian TV host named Tina Kandelaki who claims the pop star harassed her at an industry party. She alleges an intoxicated Perry once tried to kiss her and inappropriately touch her.
“Once I was invited to a private party with Katy Perry, where she, being pretty tipsy, chose me as an object for the manifestation of her passion,” the TV host said, according to the website StarHit. “I managed to fight back, strength training was not in vain, and Katy instantly found a new victim for kisses, hugs and dirty dances.”
It's unclear when the incident happened, but Kandelaki reportedly decided to go public with her claims after model Josh Kloss went public with his own allegations earlier this week. He said working with the "Never Really Over" singer was “one of the most confusing, assaulting, and belittling jobs I’ve ever done."
Perry has yet to respond to the allegations, but her "Thinking of You" video co-star, Anderson Davis, has defended her, saying she was nothing but professional when they worked together in 2008.
