So Labor Day weekend marks the end of summer, although Summer doesn't end officially until September 22, 10:28 PM, in our heads it ends once school starts and Labor Day has passed.  I'm ready for Fall.  Fall and Spring are my favorite times of year.  So here are my top 5 most anticipated things for Fall.

Pumpkin Anything

I'm one of those who love pumpkin.  Anything pumpkin (except for those nasty chips).  I love the smell of pumpkin, the taste of pumpkin, the look of pumpkin.  I especially like Starbucks this year because I can already get my Pumpkin Spice Latte.

Leaves Changing

I know we don't have the amazing fall foliage in Amarillo that they do in other parts of the country, but it is still pretty.  I love driving down streets here in town with big trees and seeing the beautiful colors of the changing leaves.

Baking

I love to bake in the Fall.  Baking in the Fall is just different from baking in the other seasons.   In fact, I got a jumpstart on Fall yesterday when I baked up a loaf of banana bread (my bunch of bananas were passed the point of snacking and I didn't want to be wasteful).

Sweaters/Hoodies

There is nothing like being warm in the Fall and I love wearing my sweaters and hoodies.  In the summer I have to break one or the other out in my office, but they are really feasible in 90 degree heat.  So being able to wear one everyday is wonderful.

Stew/Soups

There is something about a big bowl of warmth for lunch or dinner on a cold Fall day.  Plus, most of these are easily made in a crockpot.

Now I'm sure some of your favorite things about Fall didn't make the list like football. However, I would love for you to share your favorite things about Fall with me.
