My Reasons Why Joe Rogan Should Moderate a Presidential Debate
Leave it to the Internet. A petition has started circulating, and is gaining traction, to have Joe Rogan moderate a 2020 presidential debate.
But it's not all drug culture and giggles. Joe would actually do a great job.
I'll admit that I am a fan of Joe Rogan. My reasons for wanting him to moderate the debates go beyond simple fandom.
- 1
He Gets Along with Everybody
It's hard to find anyone, anymore, that is as impartial as Joe Rogan. His podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, has had guests ranging from Alex Jones to the CEO of Twitter. Joe doesn't ask "gotcha" questions of his guests, and instead gives them space to answer his questions.

He Has Millions of Followers
This is a win for the networks. There would be a lot of people tune in just because Joe is at the helm instead of any of the mainstream news talking heads.
- 3
He Asks the Real Questions
Personally, I can't wait to hear how all the candidates prepare their elk meat. Plus, Joe is more in tune with the political landscape than you would think. He pays attention to what is going on in the world around him, and would ask questions accordingly. While he has given a platform to all political affiliations, he isn't shy when it comes to asking a tough question.

He Can Fact Check on the Fly
The first candidate to make some outlandish claim, and Joe will tell Jamie to "Pull that up." If you listen to/watch Joe's podcast, any time someone makes a claim that sounds farfetched, Joe has his sidekick Jamie pull the info up to either prove it true, or debunk it.
It would be nice to have Jamie fact-checking during the debate for us.

We Can Find Out Which Candidates Have Tried DMT
Joe asks everyone...everyone...if they've done DMT. My money is on Bernie having taken a trip to the Emerald City.
