Maybe there ARE jobs you're interested in, but your resume lacks a little something. Maybe it's job experience, maybe it's detail. Either way, your resume doesn't exactly help you get a job you're looking for, and that's exactly what SHOULD be helping you land it.

Well, fear a weak resume no more.

The Texans Veterans Commission and the Workforce Solutions Workshop have teamed up with local powerhouse Pantex to get you on the right path.

On Thursday, July 28th at the Workshop Solutions Panhandle offices, Pantex recruiters will be on hand to help you with whatever it is that could be holding you back. Whether that be help with your resume to make it stronger or land you a job you are searching for.

From 5 pm to 7 pm, the recruiters will be providing a resume workshop, present employment options, as well as provide you with a one-on-one personalized review of your resume.

Now, this isn't just a workshop for you to improve that piece of paper. Pantex has dozens of entry-level positions they're looking to fill, and their hope is they can get the process rolling at the event.

Spots are limited for this, as only 40 spots will be filled for the in-person portion of the event. If you're looking to be there, you need to hurry up and get registered HERE.

There will be a live stream offered so you can get the tips and tricks, as well as employment info. The live stream will be found HERE.

The Abandoned St. Anthony's Hospital on Amarillo Boulevard

The 119-year-old abandoned hospital is a fascinating place for any who are lucky enough to be granted the chance to explore.

The sprawling building saw thousands of Amarillo's citizens inside its halls daily, all the the way until it was shuttered in 2001. But there are still incredible artifacts of the all-too-recent past tucked away in the nooks and crannies of the old St. Anthony.

The explorer who took these photographs gave the following information:

"Many rooms were left untouched, we found patient files, old prescriptions, a blood transfusion machine from the 60s, and microscopic slides of breast cancer from the 70s and 80s. I put one picture in here of some heart scans so you can see the dates and diagnosis of the patient, but marked out the patient’s names of course. During a time when mental illness was not understood, 76 exorcisms were documented to have been performed between 1909 and 1931."
