Opera: Anna Nicole Smith

Anna Nicole Smith was a character.  She was commonly compared to Marilyn Monroe.  Her death shocked the world.  So apparently the Royal Opera House is hosting Anna Nicole the Opera. 

Anna Nicole Smith is the subject of a brand-new opera, simply titled Anna Nicole,  at London's Royal Opera House. H

The piece was written by British composer Mark-Anthony Turnage, and the libretto by Richard Thomas, whose previous credits include Jerry Springer: the Opera.
