Halloween in Amarillo is going to be a little different this year. There will be masks (not the spooky kind) and social distancing. Some events have already been canceled, and new ones have been scheduled. Trick-or-treating is a much debated issue.

Here is a quick list of events we've found taking place this year in Amarillo.

Renaissance Faire on 6th Street

Old Route 66 is going to be awfully busy on Halloween this year. After the Creepy Crawl was canceled, word got out that there would be a Renaissance Faire instead. There is a full day of activities planned that includes Top Of Texas Professional Wrestling having matches all day long. You can follow this link for more details.

Haunted Houses

6th Street Massacre and Amarillo Scaregrounds are both open for the season. They have different rules regarding face coverings and social distancing.

Follow this link for Massacre.

Trunk-Or-Treats

There are a few places to trunk-or-treat this year. The Amarillo Venom will be having a trunk-or-treat at Gene Messer Ford on Soncy on Halloween from 5 PM - 6:30 PM.

Bubba's 33 will be having one on Halloween starting at 3 PM.

The Emergency Truck Or Treat happening on Halloween has been canceled this year.

Zombie Walk

This is an interesting 5K that allows for zombies, hunters, and spectators. It gets started around 2 PM on Halloween. Follow this link for details.

Carnival at Tascosa Drive-In

Tascosa Drive-In will be having a carnival along with other events. Follow this link for more info.
