School Asks Deaf Toddler to Change the Sign Language for His Name Because It Looks Like a Gun

Sometimes I think people can go way to far, especially those in a position of authority.  Hunter Spanjer is a 3-year old boy who cannot hear so he uses sign language. 

One of the signs in his name resembles a gun.  Since it does resemble a gun, school officials in the Nebraska town of Grand Island,  are saying it violates their school policy and he needs to change the sign for his name.

How ridiculous is this? It is a registered sign.  Really?!?

It just blows my mind how people can be so absurd. This is absurd.
