Selena Gomez's latest television show is the upcoming Netflix original television series, Living Undocumented. Gomez serves as Executive Producer of the project.

Gomez shared the trailer on her social media accounts, explaining how much the project means to her.

"I am so humbled to be a part of Netflix’s documentary series Living Undocumented," the pop star, actress and producer shared.

"The immigration issue is more complex than one administration, one law or the story you hear about on the news. These are real people in your community, your neighbors, your friends – they are all part of the country we call home. I can’t wait for you guys to see this and hope it impacts you like it impacted me," she continued.

This isn't the first time Gomez has been outspoken on the issue of immigration. Gomez previously shared her thoughts on the United States' border crisis and immigration on her Instagram account and urged her followers to contact their local and national representatives about the problem.

Gomez previously worked with Netflix by executive producing the hit series 13 Reasons Why. According to her IMDB page, she will also be executive producing a television show called Rising, as well as a film titled The Broken Heart Gallery.

Living Undocumented airs globally October 2.
