‘Straw Dogs’ Remake Coming Soon to A Theater Near You

Hollywood loves remaking movies, sometimes it ends up being a great remake.   Other times it is a bad remake and they should have left well enough alone.  Hollywood is now remaking a movie called "Straw Dogs". The original came out in 1971 and starred Dustin Hoffman.

The new one stars James Mardsen, Kate Bosworth and Alexander Skarsgard (True Blood) and reminds me of "The Strangers".   The trailer makes this movie look awesome.  Let's hope that all the good stuff isn't in the trailer.  Expected release date September 16, 2011
