Amarillo, Texas is blessed with several options when it comes to getting tacos on any given Tuesday. Most of us have been to Taco Villa more times than we can count or showed up to a get-together with one of their build-your-own taco platters present. Taco Villa is just a part of Amarillo living. This is why so many are wondering why the location on Coulter is suddenly closed.

Why Is The Taco Villa Closed On Coulter Street In Amarillo?

It's disappointing on a Tuesday to find out that your go-to taco joint isn't open. There are many of us celebrating our favorite once-a-week holiday at a different place today. If Taco Villa on Coulter is your spot, you're going to need to find a temporary replacement or make your own at home.

Supposedly, the reason for the sudden closing is actually a good thing. Word is that they're remodeling. With all of the restaurants that have been remodeled recently in Amarillo, I've learned one thing. It's almost always a good thing when they do. Several of my favorites have had to close for remodeling over the past couple of years, and when they reopen things are usually fantastic.

Where To Get Tacos While We Wait For The Big Reopening?

Fortunately, there happens to be more than one Taco Villa in Amarillo. There's one near I-40 and another on Georgia. You have options on Bell and the Boulevard. Taco Villa is everywhere, and that includes Canyon. There are several locations in our area to choose from.

You may have to change up your taco Tuesday tradition for a little bit, but the good news is once the supposed remodeling is finished, they should be back better than ever. Hopefully it doesn't take too long.
