It's almost time to celebrate our day of independence and what better way to do that then with music. There are so many songs to choose from that pay homage to our great country, but I drilled it down to five of my favorites. 4th of July is just around the corner and the ban on fireworks in Potter and Randall county has been lifted. This means that people will be allowed to launch fireworks in the county lines.
Growing up, my grandparents lived out in the country thus out of the city limits. So, when the 4th of July rolled around we would always go out to their house with our massive package of fireworks. We'd shoot fireworks off in their middle of their dirt road. If, and only if we had a good rainy season and not in a drought. Yes, it was fun. But, we were outside the city limits and it was legal.
