Words escape me. What is there to say? The photos and videos are horrendous, and it's infuriating. Something NEEDS to Change NOW!

According to a press release from the Child-Friendly Faith Project, survivors of alleged abuse at Boys Ranch will be protesting at the screening.

At a press conference this morning, survivors of alleged abuse shared their stories and demanded transparency from Boys Ranch.

I will never in my life understand the cruelty of people.  However, even more so I will never understand how a child can become so sadistic.  Two teen girls, 17-year old Lauren Bush and an unnamed 15-year old girl,  have been charged with the abuse of a 16-year old autistic boy.  The charges will disturb you.

This story is an amazing story in two ways.  One is shows you how amazing animals can be, and two it shows you, that sometimes even the people you believe you can trust you cannot.

Sometimes, I think people should have to take a class and be certified before they can have a pet.  I understand that sometimes bad things happen to good people and they can no longer afford their pet.  That is why we have pet rescue shelters, but to abandon an innocent animal in kennel without food is cruel.  This is the story of Goldie.
