On January 31, we say goodbye to one of the great comedic loves our our lives, as '30 Rock' airs its series finale after seven seasons spent on NBC. Yet, as fans of the series well know, even at the series' comedic best '30 Rock' never drew mammoth ratings, and nearly faced the departure of series star Alec Baldwin on a number of occasions. Alec Baldwin just got married over the weekend but don’t think the domestic life has calmed down the actor at all. On Monday morning, he abruptly shut down his Twitter account as a new interview revealed his violent fantasies towards the founder of TMZ.com, Harvey Levin.

Oh, Alec Baldwin. You’re so funny on-screen and we so want to like you as a person — but punching a photographer and then invoking Trayvon Martin is definitely not going to win you any new fans.

You know, I have never really been a fan of Alec Baldwin and I'm not really sure why. As an Actor I find him ok but, as a 'person,'  he just kinda rubs me the wrong way. Maybe because of the voice mail he left on his daughter's (phone call content NSFW/Explicit) back in 2007 or his most recent incident with American Airlines. Baldwin just comes across as a very 'angry and spoiled little actor.' R

One of my favorite movies from the 80's is Beetlejuice.  Michael Keaton was awesome playing this crazy dead character that caused all sorts of trouble in the world of the dead.  Of course, who could forget the crazy dance he caused at the dining table to Day O (the Banana Boat Song), or trying to take Winona Ryder as a bride.  Plus, I think this movie was the skinniest Alec Baldwin had ever been. 

Back in 1998, when Alec Baldwin was hosting SNL for his 8th time, they did a Christmas Carol type skit and Jimmy Fallon told Alec that he would be hosting the show in December of 2011.  However, he did say the musical guest would be REM, and that it would be on December 12th.  It will air on December 17th and his musical guest will be Michael Buble,  but hey he was very close.

When television staple ‘Saturday Night Live’ returns on September 24 for its 37th season, it’ll have a familiar host — actor Alec Baldwin. It will be the record-setting sixteenth time the ’30 Rock’ star, 53, has hosted the NBC late-night sketch comedy show, breaking a tie with another show stalwart, Steve Martin. Baldwin’s first appearance on ‘SNL’ was April 21, 1990.

This year's opening sequence of the Academy Awards featured hosts James Franco and Anne Hathaway trying to tap Alec Baldwin's dreams for Oscar hosting advice.
