Last week I started the Happy Plate series in celebration of National Nutrition Month. The theme for this year is “Eat Right, Your Way, Every Day” which encourages the development of a healthful eating plan that incorporates individual food choices and preferences.

I love to cook a big breakfast on the weekends, however I never seem to get it right.  I either over cook the bacon, the hash browns don't get crunchy or I break the yolk in the eggs.  It seems no matter what I do, it doesn't turn out the way my grandma cooked breakfast.  Luckily for me and you, I ran across a video from Alton Brown, who shows you how to make the perfect breakfast.
