We have a lot of fabulous places to eat here in Amarillo. Sometimes when you get up on the weekend you might not be in as big of a hurry as you are during the week. You want a day or two to enjoy life.

What exactly is brunch? I mean why has it become such a big thing in our society? Is it for people who sleep in too late for a regular breakfast? Is it for those people who want breakfast but heck it's noon so you are out of luck? So brunch is here to save the day?

Here are the best places for breakfast around Amarillo.

This restaurant has always been on my list of have to tries. I have had samples at events and knew those were great. I just never had a chance to stop in and eat. I have made plans but they always seemed to fall through.

I suppose this is an opportunity to skip out on the insanity and have brunch with the jolly ole elf, himself.
