Ahhh spring is nearly here. You can tell by the sounds of sniffling in the air. You know the allergies are strong here in the Texas Panhandle. As things start blooming. You will be thinking about ways to spring-clean your place.

When we think back to high school a lot of things come to mind. We probably think about the pep rally's, the football games, the tests, the homework, the graduation and the prom. Some of the things we remember with fondness. Some we just dreaded having to do.

We love a great event. We love to support great causes here in Amarillo. Now if it is a cause that also is encouraging us to be a slacker we are all in. That brings us to this years Slack a Thon.

Are you a slacker? I mean face it could you actually be one? In the year 2020 I can honestly say there may be nothing better. This year has been one for the books and if slacking is all you have left I would say that is OK. It will even be encouraged.

Everyday, Martha's Home here in Amarillo works hard to support our community, but they also know that sometimes, you just got to slack off!

Every year they throw an incredible event for adults who missed their prom in high school or just want to re-live it! The Second chance Prom is on April 21st from 7-11 pm at the Amarillo NetPlex. 100% of proceeds will go straight to Martha's Home.

Martha's Home is preparing to take a trip down the rabbit hole with their 9th Annual Second Chance Prom.

Remember as a kid going on scavenger hunts in the neighborhood?  Being sent out to find an empty green bean can or a single sock with a hole in it.  Those were fun!  There is an event in Amarillo that has taken it to the next level.  This event promises to be an adventure full of fun.
