politically correct

I don't understand what's going on here.  I completely understand about being politically correct, but isn't there a point where you become too PC?  I understand that the English language evolves, however I believe things can be taken a bit to far.  Can't they?

This may make me sound old, but do you remember the days when you could say something without being corrected for not being politically correct?  It seems more and more terms that have become mainstay are no longer acceptable.  When people start looking for a new home, they first ask how big is the master bedroom...

People are doing their best to take the meaning and religion out of everything.  First they take prayer out of schools, then it isn't PC to say Merry Christmas at the stores anymore, you have to say Happy Holiday's. Now it looks as if you cannot call Easter eggs, Easter eggs anymore.
