The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree is Now Up At Westgate Mall
You have seen the tree all your life, that Christmas tree set up in Westgate Mall covered in small paper angels. It may look just like a tree covered in angels, but each angel on that tree represents a child in Amarillo who would like to have an amazing Christmas. A child who would otherwise go without on Christmas morning.
This year, you can chose one or more of those angels off that tree as you pass by and make a difference in that child's life. Make it a family tradition with you and your kids. Let them choose a child that is their age and take them shopping and teach them what it is like to give back.
Many families make this a part of their Christmas tradition, However, many more families are needed to make sure every child on that tree has an amazing Christmas.
I think we sometimes get into our bubbles and forget how blessed we are and don't realize how many children will never see or have the privileges that our kids have on a daily basis.

If you have some free time, the Salvation Army is looking for volunteers for the Angel Tree
They have 2-5 hour shifts that need to be filled Sunday through Saturday, morning, early, and late afternoon shifts. How about you, you and your family, church, Bible study group, club, place of business, Civic groups, etc. give back just a few hours of your time to make sure that we get all of these angels adopted.
